1st visit after wanting to for some time. Nice open, relaxed bar area at the front with a mixed and literally all-ages crowd (altho 70% blokes on the Fri nite that I was there). With a big but still intimate restaurant area at the back downstairs (Meal and a couple of alcoholic drinks for a couple = around 50-60).
WENT WITH A FRIEND FOR LUNCH YESTERDAY. MY FRIEND HAD SET MENU WHICH SHE REALLY ENJOYED. I HAD FILLET STEAK WHICH WAS ONE OF THE BEST STEAKS THAT I HAVE EVER HAD! WILL GO BACK
A lovely clean restaurant. From outside it doesn't look the biggest but once inside it opens up into a large dining area.Staff were friendly and prompt with service. The food was very good, great to look at and even better to eat. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon had by all. Would recommend a visit.
If only more places like this existed. Comfortable seating, good bar, extensive wine list. Very tasty food (Bergundian Snails and Pheasant) and very friendly, attentive service. I'm not sure I've given five stars to a restaurant before, so there we go!
Fantastic three course Christmas meal. Lovely restaurant. Can't think of anything I didn't like/didn't go well! Staff very polite and helpful.
