Food was good, staff were friendly and efficient. Nice range of beer too. Will be coming back to try the Sunday roast!
Clean, modern, friendly and polite staff. Good beer and food. If there was live music, or even a jukebox, I'd give it 5 stars. Gotta have music!
Third visit since the opening under new ownership, which we also attended. So impressed with the pub as a whole. Staff are so warm, nothing is too much trouble, food is fantastically priced and a definate reason to return. Now also very much our local to embrace the fab selection of gins!
Popping in Christmas Eve , for a quick bite of lunch sadly the beef pies were sold out so I ordered Burger which was good with red Leicester cheese which is unusual but surprisingly tasty - recommend. We had a vegetarian with us who thought there was a good selection on the menu for both vegetarians and vegans. All the food we had was great and good service too. Finally for the real ale drinkers Red Squirrel on tap a truly local beer. Thank you for a great time , we'll be back.
Booked for a cosy dinner with friends. On arrival we were shown to our table, and the friendly waiter explained all of the menu items that weren't available. Drinks arrived quickly and the food arrived in good time. I was very happy with my rack of ribs with chips. The steak sandwich also was impressive. The warm cosy environment, great service and fine food made for a really enjoyable evening.
