Perfect end to a lovely walk. No matter what The weather we always have a cuppa and piece of cake. There's always a queue but that just confirms how nice the cake is. Selection of hot food or sandwiches available also. Dog friendly also.
Great cafe in the woods. High quality food. Seating outside. Open from 8am till 4pm in winter 8am to 6pm in summer. Good beginning or end to a walk.
This has the promise to be a real gem. However on a visit there today (and on other occasions), we queued at the caf for over 30 minutes for hot drinks and cakes. The problem was not a lack of staff but the fact that the 2 people serving were both taking orders and payments as well as having to make the hot drinks. This resulted in a huge wait which was completely needless and some very frustrated customers. Such a shame as they have the monopoly on a beautiful spot and it could be so much better run.
This cafe offers a wide selection of drinks and snacks and is great for having a rest after a walk through the woods. The seating is outside so bring your brolly if it's wet!
I have visited Brownlow Cafe with my family over many years and the food and service has always been of a high standard whether it is mid summer or mid winter with outdoor dining only, unique. Unfortunately queueing is the norm but the wait is well worth it
