We used Oakleys for our sale and purchase both which were particularly complex. The whole team played a part in providing a 1st class end-to-end service. Special thanks to Gemma, Donna and Michael for being there at particularly difficult times with expertise ....... & calming words! It is rare that you come across a business (let alone an estate agent), filled with such wonderfully supportive people. We are just incredibly grateful that we found them.
We purchased a house through Oakleys this year and were happy in one sense because we got the house we wanted. The staff in Oakley's were always helpful but they seem to outsource the sales management side to an external "Sales Pipeline" company. Half the time this lady didn't know which estate agent she was supposed to be representing and the rest of the time she essentially harassed us. We had trouble getting supporting paperwork from overseas which was stressful enough, but this lady made it worse by essentially not listening to the reasons why we weren't able to produce the paperwork and repeatedly asking when we would supply it. She backed off when I reminded her about Brexit. It never felt like she was working with us, just working for the vendor and continued applying heavy sales tactics.This left a sour taste in the mouth and I would hesitate to recommend Oakleys to friends as a result.
