My usual plumber fitted a sink outflow which immediately failed. He then did nothing about it for 2 weeks. I called ACORN Plumbing and was honest as to why. They came round almost immediately.They sent someone out to look at the problem with the original installation - diagnosed the fault - told me what was needed and said they might be able to effect a good outcome without getting in new parts.The (quite young) plumber was knowledgeable about why it had failed - why it should have been tested and why my own plumber should not have used silicone sealant. As he said the clue is the part comes with rubber washers. Use them - they are included for a reason.He also diagnosed problems with my Gerberit lavatory flush and advised leaving it for the moment.Excellent service both from Jackie in the office and the on-call plumber.Consequently i will use them from now on and word spreads - so will my neighbour.
Excellent work, high-quality installation of a new boiler, knowledgeable & friendly service. Worked very hard and got a new system up and running, all very courteous and tidied up. Have previously been disappointed by several big utility companies' home care schemes, and they cannot match Acorn for reliability, knowledge, skill and dedication to customer satisfaction. Don't bother with the big companies - shop local and use these guys!
We have only ever used Acorn since moving here and can highly recommend them. They will always try and fit you in, are trustworthy, friendly and get the job done no matter how big or small.
I recently had Valliant boiler installed. Alex was very good in talking and exploring best options for me. Work was finished to an excellent standard and they treated home with respect leaving no mess.Would highly recommend and will certainly use in future.
